HISTORY BEHIND OUR BELOVED SCHOOL
In case you have never heard of Liberty High School, we are one of the smallest high schools in Jersey City. Despite this challenge, we have set ourselves aside from other high schools in the area by having extremely high standards for students. Academically, we are ahead of most schools and we have created a school full of students who are dedicated and involved not only here but in the community. Being that we are so small, Liberty High School is a family. However, our size has come with a great cost. We have done wonders with the resources we do have but it is difficult for a school of our size to provide every student with additional materials and resources that hard working students absolutely deserve. This is why we are asking that contributions and donations be made in order for every student at Liberty to reach their full potential. It is our hope that others are dedicated to working with us in small and big ways in order to create a future generation that has had ample opportunities.
On behalf of Liberty parents and students, we would like to thank you for taking the time to learn more about Liberty High School, our goals and how we would like to get the community involved with the progression of our school and the success of our students. Our size has allowed us to build a place where students and faculty members can feel as though they belong to one family. Despite this, our size comes with a few costs and we need your support to implement and provide additional resources to our kids. It is sometimes difficult to provide every student with additional materials and resources that hard working students absolutely deserve. As a result we want to reach out to community members like yourself who can work with our diligent PTA members to provide support for our school. All of our students and their families belong to this community and it is important for the community to uplift their youth and have a hand in their success and progression in life.
